NFPA 22 Water Tank

Fire protection tanks from Corgal are manufactured according to National Fire Protection Association (NFPA-22), Factory Manual (FM), and American Water Works Association (AWWA) standards. Corrugated Steel Above-Ground Tanks are often the most economical and longest lasting form of storage for fire protection water. Corgal offer a huge range of approved tanks that conform to NFPA-22 requirements.

The modular bolted design allows for a fast and easy installation in all types of weather and requires no field coating, welding, or cranes. The polymer liner design is less expensive intially, requires less routine maintenance, and is easier, faster, and less expensive to repair than spray coatings.

SITE SPECIFIC ENGINEERING

We offer a site-specific structural design calculation package (SDCP), stamped by a professional engineer licensed to practice in the project location. This ensures each tank is built to the location’s specific requirements and complies with local ordinances and laws, protecting all parties. Site specific tanks may incorporate thicker metal wall sheets or roof panels, stiffeners, heavy duty anchors, and other components to satisfy the local seismic, wind speed and live load requirements. We take engineering very seriously for the safety and security of all parties involved.

​​Flowtite® tanks, from Containment Solutions, can be custom built for any fire protection design. We understand the requirements of fire protection systems, and manufacture our tanks to National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards.

By providing a dedicated source of water required by local codes in residential development, CSI fiberglass tanks are a preferred way to have access to large volumes of water. The tank provides unseen protection for the residents, yet is easily accessible for fire and municipal vehicles. Flowtite tanks are also used for commercial fire protection due to the inherent water tight properties of fiberglass and the large volume capacities.
